Shipping and Delivery Policy
At ViaCash Food, we provide a service that allows customers to order food products online for delivery to their loved ones in Haiti. Our goal is to offer a reliable, transparent delivery service adapted to local logistical realities.
This policy applies to orders placed through ViaCashFood.com or through any other official ViaCash Food sales channel.
1. Delivery Area
ViaCash Food offers delivery in Haiti, mainly in areas served by our local partners.
Our standard delivery area covers locations that are reasonably accessible between the cities of Les Cayes and Léogâne, as well as nearby areas served by our delivery network.
Some remote, difficult-to-access, unsafe, or out-of-range areas may be subject to additional delivery fees, longer delivery times, or prior validation before the order is confirmed.
2. Free Delivery on Orders of $120 or More
Delivery is free in Haiti for all orders of CAD $120 or more, before any applicable additional fees, when the delivery address is located within our standard delivery area.
For orders under CAD $120, delivery fees may apply. These fees may vary depending on the recipient’s location, distance, accessibility of the area, and local logistical conditions.
3. Additional Fees for Certain Locations
Even when an order reaches CAD $120 or more, additional delivery fees may apply if the delivery address is outside a reasonable radius of the areas served between Les Cayes and Léogâne, or if the delivery requires a special trip.
Additional fees may apply when:

the address is located in a remote area;
-
the address is difficult to access;
-
the delivery requires special transportation;
-
the area is not regularly served;
-
road or security conditions make delivery more complex;
-
multiple delivery attempts are required due to the recipient’s absence.
When additional fees apply, ViaCash Food will inform the customer before delivery whenever possible. The order may be placed on hold until the customer accepts the additional fees.
4. Delivery Times
Delivery times may vary depending on:

product availability;
-
the recipient’s location;
-
distance to be travelled;
-
road conditions;
-
local security conditions;
-
weather conditions;
-
public holidays or periods of high demand;
-
supply constraints in Haiti.
ViaCash Food will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe provided at the time of purchase. However, delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
5. Required Delivery Information
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information, including:

recipient’s full name;
-
recipient’s local phone number;
-
complete delivery address;
-
city, neighbourhood, communal section, or location landmarks;
-
special delivery instructions, if needed;
-
approximate availability of the recipient.
ViaCash Food is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional fees caused by incomplete, incorrect, or unverifiable information.
6. Confirmation With the Recipient
Before or during delivery, ViaCash Food or its local partner may contact the recipient to confirm:

their identity;

their address;
-
their availability;
-
delivery instructions;
-
receipt of the order.
If the recipient cannot be reached or is unavailable, delivery may be delayed or rescheduled. Additional fees may apply for another delivery attempt.
7. Delivery Attempts
One delivery attempt will be made to the address provided by the customer.
If delivery cannot be completed due to the recipient’s absence, an incorrect phone number, an incorrect address, refusal to receive the order, or inability to access the location, ViaCash Food may offer:

another delivery attempt;

correction of the address;
-
a pickup location, if available;
-
partial or full cancellation of the order, depending on the condition of the products.
Additional fees may apply for any extra delivery attempt.
8. Fresh or Perishable Products
Some orders may include fresh, perishable, or temperature-sensitive products.
The recipient must be available to receive the order at the agreed time. ViaCash Food cannot be held responsible for the deterioration of fresh products when delivery fails due to the recipient’s absence, an incorrect address, or lack of communication.
9. Proof of Delivery
ViaCash Food or its local partner may retain proof of delivery, including:

confirmation by phone or message;

recipient signature;
-
delivery photo;
-
confirmation of receipt;
-
delivery status in our system.
This proof may be used to confirm delivery or review a claim.
10. Impossible Delivery or Non-Serviceable Area
In some cases, ViaCash Food may refuse, delay, or cancel a delivery if the address is located in an area that is not served, unsafe, inaccessible, or outside our logistical capacity.
In such cases, ViaCash Food may offer, depending on the situation:

an alternative delivery address;

a pickup location;
-
rescheduling of the delivery;
-
a credit;
-
a full or partial refund.
11. Force Majeure and Exceptional Conditions
Deliveries in Haiti may be affected by circumstances beyond ViaCash Food’s reasonable control, including:

civil unrest;

blocked roads;
-
strikes;
-
natural disasters;
-
severe weather;
-
shortages;
-
government restrictions;
-
security issues;
-
supply difficulties;
-
transportation service disruptions.
In these situations, ViaCash Food will make reasonable efforts to complete the delivery, propose an alternative solution, or communicate with the customer regarding available options.
12. Address Changes
Any request to change a delivery address must be made as soon as possible after the order is placed.
An address change may be refused if the order is already being prepared, in transit, or delivered. Additional fees may apply if the new address is outside the standard delivery area or requires extra travel.
