Purchase Options Cancellation Policy
This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy applies to any purchase option offered by ViaCash Food, including pre-orders, scheduled deliveries, recurring food baskets, subscription-style packages, partial payment orders, deposit-based orders, or any other purchase option made available through www.viacashfood.com.
This policy should be read together with our Shipping and Delivery Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and any specific conditions displayed at checkout.
1. Purchase Options Covered by This Policy
ViaCash Food may offer certain purchase options from time to time, including:

one-time food basket orders;

scheduled delivery orders;

pre-orders for future delivery;

recurring food basket orders;
-
subscription-style food packages;
-
deposit or partial-payment orders;
-
special event packages;
-
seasonal or limited-availability packages.
The specific terms applicable to each purchase option will be displayed on the product page, cart page, checkout page, or order confirmation.
2. One-Time Orders
A standard one-time order may be cancelled if the cancellation request is received before the order has been processed, prepared, purchased from suppliers, assembled, dispatched, or transmitted to our local partner in Haiti.
Once the order has entered preparation, fulfillment, delivery, or pickup processing, cancellation may no longer be possible, especially for food products, fresh goods, perishable items, or custom-assembled packages.
3. Pre-Orders
A pre-order is an order placed in advance for products or packages that will be fulfilled at a later date.
Customers may request cancellation of a pre-order before the order is processed, prepared, purchased, assembled, or transmitted to our local partner.
Once a pre-order has been prepared, dispatched, made available for pickup, or delivered, it may no longer be cancelled. However, if there is a delivery issue, damaged product, missing item, or substantial non-conformity, the order may be reviewed under our Return and Refund Policy.
4. Scheduled Delivery Orders
If a customer selects or requests a specific delivery date or delivery window, the order may be cancelled or modified only if the request is received within a reasonable time before preparation or dispatch.
Cancellation or modification may be refused if:

the order is already being prepared;
-
products have already been purchased from suppliers;
-
the order has already been assembled;
-
the order has already been assigned to a delivery partner;
-
the delivery is already in progress;
-
the order includes fresh or perishable products.
ViaCash Food will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation or modification requests, but cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once the fulfillment process has started.
5. Recurring Food Baskets or Subscription-Style Packages
If ViaCash Food offers recurring food baskets or subscription-style packages, the customer may cancel future recurring orders by contacting ViaCash Food before the next order is processed.
To avoid being charged or fulfilled for the next scheduled order, cancellation requests should be submitted at least 3 business days before the next scheduled processing date, unless a different period is displayed at checkout or in the subscription terms.
Cancellation of a recurring plan will stop future orders. It does not automatically cancel, refund, or reverse an order that has already been processed, prepared, dispatched, delivered, or made available for pickup.
6. Deposit or Partial-Payment Orders
If a purchase option allows a deposit or partial payment, the remaining balance may be charged according to the terms displayed at checkout or communicated to the customer.
A deposit or partial-payment order may be cancelled before the order is processed, prepared, purchased, assembled, or transmitted to our local partner.
If the order has already entered preparation or fulfillment, the deposit may be fully or partially non-refundable to cover costs already incurred, unless otherwise required by applicable law or unless the cancellation is due to an error by ViaCash Food.
7. Custom, Special Event, or Large Orders
Custom orders, special event packages, bulk orders, holiday packages, wedding packages, funeral packages, communion packages, or other special orders may be subject to stricter cancellation rules.
Because these orders may require advance purchasing, coordination with suppliers, dedicated delivery planning, or special preparation, cancellation may be refused or subject to partial charges once preparation has started.
Specific cancellation terms may be communicated to the customer before confirmation of the order.
8. How to Cancel a Purchase Option

A cancellation request is not considered approved until ViaCash Food confirms it in writing by email, text message, WhatsApp, or another official communication channel.
9. Refunds After Cancellation
If a cancellation is approved and a refund is owed, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed or technically impossible.
Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period and, where required by applicable law, within the legally required timeframe.
The time required for the refund to appear on the customer’s bank or card statement may vary depending on the financial institution, payment processor, or payment network.
10. Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled
An order may not be eligible for cancellation if:

it has already been prepared;

it has already been assembled;
-
it has already been dispatched;
-
it has already been delivered;
-
it has already been made available for pickup;
-
it contains fresh or perishable products already purchased or prepared;
-
it is a custom or special order already in progress;
-
the local partner in Haiti has already started fulfillment.
In these cases, the customer may still contact ViaCash Food if there is a delivery issue, missing item, damaged product, expired product, unsafe product, or substantial non-conformity.
11. Changes to Purchase Options
ViaCash Food may modify, suspend, or discontinue purchase options at any time, including recurring baskets, pre-orders, special packages, or scheduled delivery options.
If a purchase option is changed or discontinued after a customer has placed an order, ViaCash Food will make reasonable efforts to fulfill the order as confirmed or offer an appropriate alternative, credit, or refund where required.
12. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all order and delivery information is complete and accurate before confirming a purchase option, including:

customer contact information;

recipient name;
-
recipient phone number;
-
delivery address in Haiti;
-
city, neighbourhood, section, or landmarks;
-
delivery instructions;
-
selected delivery date or frequency, if applicable.
ViaCash Food is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information provided by the customer.
13. Consumer Rights
This policy explains ViaCash Food’s cancellation practices for purchase options. It does not limit any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable consumer protection laws.
If there is a conflict between this policy and applicable law, applicable law will prevail.
